15 Minute Friday

I feel like I've been going a 100 miles a minute lately so today I decided to start our class in a supine laying down position to try and stretch our bodies while reminding ourselves to slow down. This class conditions the muscles in the back of your body; primarily hamstrings and glutes while stretching your upper back, hip flexors, shoulders and quads. Keeping a strong core for your entire life will help prevent a lot of back injuries as we get older so I want you to really take your time with every ab segment by pressing your navel down toward your spine with each repetition or breath.

You will need...

  • Mat

  • Ankle weights (1-2lbs)

  • Water
