We start off with shoulders rotations and some simple parallel deep squats to bring heat into your muscles and begin to open up your hips, hip flexors and upper back. Stretching the hamstrings and calves in a wide downdog and playing with weight transferring by pressing the small of your back into your upper thighs for a deeper stretch. I created this class with hip rotations as a major driving force but this is a full body class so you will be working your arms, shoulders, core, glutes and thighs. I believe by creating length in your muscles that this creates space on your joints and by doing small workouts or movements all along your day you will manage to keep a healthy active body without injuries or burning out.
